Environmentally friendly materials

We do not use harmful binding substances – epoxy resins and phenol – in the MDF used in door production. Our binding element is lignin – natural material produced at wood heating. We use continuous pressed laminates (CPL) produced in Germany. Unlike PVC films, it does not contain or produce harmful substances and is environmentally safe.

Environment

Sofya doors are meant for interior use. We recommend not to set heating units at a distance of less than 30 cm from the door. The air temperature in the premises shall be from 8 to 35° C; relative humidity shall not exceed 75%. Sharp temperature and humidity fluctuations produce negative effect on doors durability.
